As you probably already understand well that there are multiple bias surrounding choosing a particular career field in Pakistan. Being a developing country and most students coming from lower middle and middle class families the deciding factor during a career decision is its monetary compensation and its societal status. Hence, the most common sources of information, especially for high school students, are either their school teachers, extended family members or older siblings of their friend circles. There is also a huge factor of parents’ pressure on students. The students at a very young age are put under the burden of fulfilling their parents’ expectation and save family honor.
